My baby girl is 4!

Ok. I know this is a little late but I've been busy. So Elly turned 4 May 8 and I'm so proud of my big girl! She had a fun birthday at kid's castle with a few friends. She of course can't wait to turn 5 now! She totally doesn't get that whole time thing and it takes a year but it's ok I know I'm not ready so I have a year to prepare.
Elly should also be starting preschool this fall. I can't wait. She has been begging me to go to school and well I want her to go and have fun.

Seattle trip

So we made a quick fun trip to Seattle. We visited the zoo and aquarium as well as the Seattle Pacific Science center. We had a blast. Elly also got an early birthday surprise which was her grandma she was so excited and has so much fun with her. Here are a few pics from our trip.

New Job

I know I finally got a job. Of course it wasn't exactly where I was going with my RN license it definitely is a start. I'm working for a company that does Home Health Care and I work with a Pediatric patient. I always did want to become a pedi RN so maybe this is life's funny way of pointing me in that direction. Now if only the hospitals were hiring.
It's a job that is getting us paid and even though it wasn't what I wanted and I'm not exactly making what I wanted I'll take it for the time being until something better comes up. Hopefully that is soon!

I know I have some time to upload pics and make a few posts.
We went to visit some dinosaurs over in Granger and Elly had so much fun!!

White Pass

So at the end of February we went to the White Pass Winter Carnival. I know the winter is almost over and I want Elly to truly enjoy the white stuff. Since we didn't seem to get any snow this year. We had fun sliding down the snow castle and Elly had fun playing in the white stuff. I really want to go back so we can sled down the castle without so many kids and having to wait in line. Plus I know Elly really loves to play in the snow. Maybe we'll head up there one random day.

I'm a NURSE!!!

So Thursday I took my NCLEX which is my state boards test and gives me my RN. Once I graduated I was only a Graduated Nurse but now I am an official Registered Nurse.
Of course it doesn't feel real yet but once I get a job and get that first paycheck I'm sure it will feel real then!
I've applied for jobs to several places around here but noone is really hiring as of right now so its kind hard. But I haven't given up and I am just waiting and I just keeping applying.
I am so happy the last 2 years of grueling nursing school was totally worth it. I am so happy to be done and I know right now I don't wanna go back I'm sure I will in a few years to get my Bachelors. We'll see what happens.

December

Well the year is just about over! And what a year it was. I finally graduated from Nursing School!!! Then we had our big move back to Washington. We've had a good time so far and just as long as there is snow on the ground that Elly can play in she's a happy girl!
Here are some pics from the last couple of weeks. We spent our Christmas at home and later that day went to Carl's Dad's house to visit.
We also drove up to Chinook Pass to play in some snow and go sledding for the first time!! The snow was a little hard so hopefully it snows again and we'll play in some fluffy stuff instead!
